Mr. Mickey’s Celebrity Sidewalk Sale

It’s no secret to anyone who knows me that I just worship Mickey Boardman, one of the original iconic geniuses behind Paper Magazine.  And if it was a secret, now it’s not.  Mr. Mickey doles out his musings daily on fashion, art, entertainment, porn and everything else simply Stan D’elicious. 

But if you REALLY know Mickey, you know that he’s one of the kindest and most selfless souls to roam the face of the planet.  One major part of his kindness is founded in his work for CITTA, an organization that is devoted to health, education and economic development in some of the world’s poorest regions. 

This year, Mr. Mickey has organized his annual celebrity sidewalk sale at Screaming Mimi’s in benefit of this amazing organization.  On Saturday, May 14th from 12pm to 6pm, come on down to Mimi’s which is located at 382 Lafayette street to peruse racks upon racks of new and vintage designer clothing all in the name of charity.  

Proceeds from the sale will go to buy books and uniforms for the kids of Vivekanand Public School in Orissa, India.
