Moodymann’s Sunday Surprise
Brace yourselves people, we have some serious music news to divulge. In conjunction with Incognito, we are thrilled to present a mega-rare DJ set by Detroit legend Kenny Dixon Jr aka Moodymann on The Rooftop, this Sunday eve. This outright living legend first pulsated the underground scene back in the early 90’s across the U.S before spreading like wildfire to Europe where his rightly-deserved superstar status came hand-in-hand with album releases including Forevernevermore in 1998 and Black Mahogani in 2004.
Since then he’s continued to exemplify why his talent — remaining underground and very much under the mainstream radar — is still the stuff that magic is made of. But you knew that already. See you Sunday.
