Summer at The Shop

Let’s be serious. If you’re like us, you don’t really need an excuse to shop but let’s pretend you’re having a mid-summer style slump. Have we got just the thing - three new additions (and a few classic faves) exclusively available at The Shop at The Standard, Downtown LA that will give your summer duds a little added flair.

(Sunglasses by Waiting for the Sun)

First up, a range of sunnies from Parisian accessories label Waiting for the Sun. They’re available in classic silhouettes but there’s a twist - each pair is beautifully crafted from lightweight wood, some painted, some weathered and some left in their lovely natural state. Pick up your favorites before they fly off the shelf! Prices range from $198-$230.

(A rainbow knot ring from papabubble and RGB polish)

While we’ve carried sweets from papabubble for some time, the newest additions to our candy cupboard are both edible AND wearable. The rings, available in a rainbow knot (above) and varying shades of heart shapes are all one of a kind and hand-crafted in NYC. A treat for yourself or a great gift idea - and perfectly coordinated with RGB nail polish in Coral, shown here. The product costs $24 for the knot and $14 for the (slightly more understated) heart.

Last, but certainly not least, are scarves from our new favorite Sydney-based line Benah, designed by Brenda Harvey. Available in many perfectly complementary neutral and bright accent tones, each versatile piece is made from 100% silk. Prices range from $88-$100. The necklace worn here is also available in The Shop, along with several other beautiful crystal, stone and amethyst pieces from Olivia K.
