TEDxEast Happening Now

We love TED, but we love TEDxEast a little bit more because we actually get to go! TEDx is an independently organized spin-off of TED. This year we couldn’t resist but sponsor the east coast event again, because as you know, we love a good panel and discussion. Plus, the theme this year is totally on par with our state of mind: Tinker, Noodle, Obsess.

If you didn’t get your tickets in time, not to worry because it’s all being livestreamed right now. Check out all the TEDx line ups here so that you can catch it the next time it’s near to you.

TED Winners Include The Standard

We’re thrilled to present the recently announced winner for a new TED initiative called TED: Ads Worth Spreading. The winning video was a viral we released last year documenting the spectacular show using The Standard New York as its canvas. An enormously ambitious project that Target hosted last Summer by turning our hotel building into one giant art installation. You’ll have to see the video to understand what we mean.

TED goes East

The TED conference is one cerebral love fest. People from all walks of life, various industry’s, and different economic backgrounds come together to discuss improving the world. There’s one skill that each speaker must embody — THEY MUST BE INSPIRING. The TED conference has branded itself as “riveting talks by remarkable people”. Check out their gallery of video inspiration talks accumulated to this date.

Today, Thursday, November 11, commences the East coast Inspiration talks for TED — under the title TedXEast. They will take place all day at the Times Center in New York.

Sticking to the mantra that is TED (which is “ideas worth spreading”), TedXEast examines ways in which knowledge and experience are connected. Through this examination themes of serendipity, redemption, beauty, intentionality, love and forgiveness begin to emerge.
