Brandi Emma is a Silverlake based singer/songwriter/musician who gained considerable critical buzz under the moniker Emma Burgess after Rolling Stones named her song “Big Break” (from her first release) Swim as “Break-Out Indie Song of 2001”. After a few musical collaborations, and a return to her birth name, she presents her latest self-released project, the EP Photographic Memory, a heady blend of folk-rock and alt-country with pop sensibility. The album marks the beginning of this 29 year-old’s formidable songwriting and vocal power.
