If you’re not at The Standard Miami this week due to the recent Miami Swim Week, and all our festivities, then we hope you’re at least at The Standard Hollywood, ready to enjoy our infamous weekly party, Desert Nights. This Wednesday, expect two very distinct musician women as well as an ocean baby surfer who travels the world while playing his tunes. Here’s the line up this week…

For Ry Cuming, the ocean is everything. Born on Woodford Island in the Far-North Coast of Australia and growing up in the coastal town of Angourie, Cuming was a bleach-blond kid who spent his days on the beach and in the water. From the first time he stood on a surfboard at age 3 and held his first guitar at 5, he simply followed the natural path ahead of him. It was one that would take him to far-off places, riding unfamiliar ocean breaks and singing in his alternately sandy tenor and captivating falsetto along the way.
