Tumblr Goes to Prom

Our beloved Tumblr celebrated their Prom at Le Bain at The Standard, New York. With the most perfect cupcake dresses, drinks spiked by Kanon Vodka, a dashing prom king and queen, and the best Prom playlist you could dream up, it definitely was a night to remember; Refinery 29 recaps the party for you here.

Bryan Boy Live All Day Long

Who doesn’t love Bryan Boy?  Very few people can say they don’t.  This third world fashion blogger came out of nowhere a few years back and now he’s EVERYWHERE!

Always wearing the latest in designer fashions, he definitely gives even ME a run for my money.  But he’s a good friend, so we keep the rivalry civil…..(keep your enemies close as they say!)

ANYFASHIONWEEKCHAOS…today you’re going to have more Bryan Boy than you can ever have imagined because Kanon Vodka has brought our Bryan on board for the day and is livestreaming his every move.  From shows to appointments to lunch (do fashionistas even eat???) to tonight’s Jeremy Scott party at Le Bain!.  It’s like having your own Bryan Boy channel on the Oprah Winfrey Network!  Too chic.

Check out Bryan Boy Live and pray that he doesn’t distract you all day long.  And you never know….you might just grab a glimpse of me when he comes over to The Standard, New York.

Our Favorite New Spot

(Cheat Sheet of the Night at The Fat Radish, NYC, with Kanon Drink Recipes)

Last night we were invited to a private dinner with friends and family at this new restaurant in Manhattan called The Fat Radish, located in the Lower East Side on the corner of Canal and Orchard. We can proudly say we were blown away. The dinner was the first in a series of events called the Kanon Organic Vodka Dinner Series. Kanon is an organic vodka that equally contributed to the joy of the evening with their creative drink recipes (which they were very generous with).

The event was hosted by the two “must-know” restauranteurs of the moment, Ben Towill and Phil Winser, while 3rd host Kristian Mirsch (of Kanon Organic Vodka) held court in the room with his Jedi-drink-master David Clelland (of Apotheke).

The room was small, sexy, cozy, candle-lit, and well curated. Every single person sitting in one of the long 3 European styled bench tables is influential in their own fields of creativity— including Becka Diamond, Anna Sheffeld of  Bing Bang, Chrissie Miller, Elizabeth Spiridakis of White Lightning, Designer Lindsay Thornburg, Sophia McNally, Chrissie Miller of Sophomore, Erin Krause, Geordon Nicol and Leigh Lezark of the Misshapes

The night was an official success. The food stellar. The drinks heavenly. Just to share a bit of the magic, here’s 2 recipes that were sipped all evening. The first was paired with Gripsholm Ginger:2 oz Kanon Vodka, ½ oz Fresh Yuzu, ½ oz Ginger, ½ oz Agave Nectar. The second drink was paired with All Things Nice: 1oz Kanon Vodka, 1 Cinnamon Stick, 10 Cloves, Nutmeg, 1 Vanilla Pod, 2 oz Heavy Cream, 1 Spoon Muscovado Sugar. You can thank us later.

We look forward to many caved out A-list dinners at this precious hideaway during the winter. Keep this place on your radar.
