(Elizabeth Taylor & Paul Newman in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof)
It’s that time of year again… Summer in LA! Hope everyone is prepared for continued sunshine and pleasant temperatures. Since we’re lucky enough to basically have beautiful days year round, seasons are sometimes best marked by their associated events and activities. We couldn’t be more excited about the return of Cinespia screenings at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

While newbies to the concept might find it a bit creepy, faithful film goers recognize the 10 year institution as one of summer’s highlights. Many super dedicated fans bring elaborate set-ups to drink and snack by candlelight, while others are more impromptu with a blanket and cooler. Trust us when we say, there’s no wrong way to do this!
This season kicks off in tribute to Elizabeth Taylor with Cat on a Hot Tin Roof this Saturday. Doors open at 7 PM and the film starts at 8:30 but folks start lining up early for the most popular films, often times queuing up around the block. So whether you’re native to LA or only in town for the weekend, show up early and pack a picnic for a lovely evening on the cemetery lawn.
