Northern Women in Chanel

This week, Vogue tips us off to a new book to be released this July 1, 2011. It’s called Northern Women in Chanel released by Farago Publishing. Here’s a few images of the Chanel ladies…

Condé Nast Going Downtown!

(The Vogue girls are moving to 1 World Trade Center)

It’s been announced that Condé Nast will be the anchor tenant at 1 World Trade Center. The New York Times reports that Condé Nast has reached an agreement to lease to lease one million square feet at 1 World Trade Center, giving ground zero a much-needed corporate anchor with a proven ability to attract other businesses.

The negotiations were intense. The talks included ensuring that Condé VIP’s (with over 100 black cars parked up front) were covered. Also, the “in and out” swift traffic, security issues, racks of designers dresses shuttled back and forth, and all the other fabulous politickin’ you can imagine to make this marriage work.

Sound the wedding bells… Condé is tying the knot with 1 World Trade Center. Thumbs up for the new revival of business this neighborhood will get. We just feel bad for the editors that have to race up to Lincoln Center every Fashion Week (previous shows were held across the Times Square building at Bryant Park).

Solution: Book more black cars!
